Are you bad? Very very bad? If not, this fun interactive site from Sony pictures gives you all the tools to accomplish this objective. Users who aren't 18 or older can download ringtones and widgets, but for the rest of us, even more fun awaits in the restricted area.

Despite my own difficulties signing into the section (they take their age verification seriously), once you do get into the site there are a multitude of components to explore. A soundboard gives all kinds of silly clips to prank call with, including "I'm McLovin," "Nail her," and other dirtier, less iMedia-appropriate topics. You can also use the soundboard to send funny messages to friends via your mobile phone.

The site gives audiences just what they want in preparation for what seems to be this generation's American Pie. If you can't get enough of Jonah Hill's moobies during the movie, the site has all kinds of additional footage to make sure you laugh for days to come.

Editor's Note
Creative Showcase is meant to be a teaching tool and an inspiration for our readers. We comment only on creative that we really love. Our panelists discuss what makes it great, but if they feel there were missed opportunities that would have made it better, we invite them to mention those. And finally, we seek out a wide range of opinions that reflect the marketplace for the panel, in order to provide constructive, useable feedback for agencies, clients and others involved in these creative pieces.
The Panel
You know when trailers are so good they almost ruin the movie? Well, this site is so good at jamming audio-visuals down my throat and into my eyeballs that I'm just praying that "Superbad" is as good as it looks.

If this site does give away all the funny parts of the movie though, it makes up for it by giving us exclusive made-for-web footage with the accompanying green screen bloopers that ensued during the site's making. Great integration of both theatrical and exclusive video!

I applaud the creative team for making a version of the site that satisfies the stunted adolescent in me and for developing a menu feature that I think should be on every website ever made from now on, until the end of time…which is obviously the Ghostbuster lunchbox filled with d*ck pictures. Bravo for presenting content that is so true to the source material that it feels like a natural extension of the film.

From the folks that brought us "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and more recently, "Knocked Up," comes "Superbad," a retro-70s style coming of age comedy starring Seth Rogen. If that's not enough to make you want to see the movie, the microsite should certainly convince you. If you like teen gross-out comedy, this movie isn't going to disappoint. I'm a fan already.

The landing page features quick links to the Superbad Widget, MySpace pages for the three main characters, their Facebook pages and, in a first for me, a link to the Wikipedia entry describing the movie. The widget has more downloads, more video, a sweepstakes, and ringtones. The synopsis of the movie included rollover text that played audio clips of quotes from the movie.

Behind the age validation gate was the "restricted" area, featuring more of the same functionality, with a little bit more risqué content. F-bombs a-plenty, and another section that cracked me up, but is unmentionable in this review. Just click the lunchbox on the dirty downloads section and see for yourself. The green screen video bloopers -- from shooting video for the website -- was a new twist that kept me in stitches. Let Seth tell you about the last porn site he visited. The soundboard, full of audio clips from the movie, didn't just play the clips, but allows you to download the MP3 of it as well.

The 70s funk and disco music and visual design perfectly captured the era of the movie and provided a great vibe and soundtrack as I explored the site.

Bottom line, this is a completely entertaining site that is easy to navigate, quick to load and full of audio and video to keep you busy until the movie comes out. Superbad? No, super good.
