Introducing your brand and promise

Your welcome email provides a great opportunity to introduce your brand by incorporating the same look and feel as your site. Duplicate your existing navigation bar into your email and provide clear calls-to-action to drive subscribers to your site and allow them to explore more on their own.

It is also a good idea to include your brand name in the "from" field and subject line. Remember to keep your emails CAN-SPAM-compliant and include an option to unsubscribe. This is also a great time to include white-listing language at the top of your email so subscribers can add you to their address book and ensure future deliverability to their inbox.
