Online Advertising Set for Growth
 

A recent poll indicates that advertising executives are set to spend 20 percent of their total budget on online advertising in 2006.

In its "Survey of Industry Leaders on Advertising Trends 2005," the American Advertising Federation polled 75 executives from agencies, media organizations and advertiser-clients about their online ad budgets from 2004 to 2006. The internet received just 8.3 percent of total media budgets in 2004, but in 2006, these respondents were planning to commit nearly 20 percent of their media budgets to online efforts.
