Internet Advertising Dominates

eMarketer reports that 57 percent of respondents to a WebTrends survey listed the internet as the centerpiece of their marketing strategy.

Data from the February 2006 WebTrends, Inc. study entitled "2006 WebTrends CMO Web-Smart Report" show that marketing strategies around the world are set to focus even more heavily on the internet. Close to 57 percent of respondents to a global survey in October-December 2005 said that the internet was the center of their marketing strategy or would become the center within a year. Only 4 percent of the 250 marketing executives surveyed described the internet as "Not that important to our business."
