Yahoo declares war on bad clicks

Yahoo has unveiled a new reporting feature aimed at helping advertisers see which clicks are invalid.

Yahoo announced the "Click Filter Report" on its blog, saying the new report would increase transparency.

The report is meant to show advertisers exactly which clicks were deemed invalid and discarded by Yahoo. In the past, invalid clicks simply weren't counted. According to Yahoo, between 12 and 15 percent of all clicks are discarded as invalid.
